Thank you for choosing the Banksflix Plex server as a platform to enjoy movies and shows. Please whitelist Banksflix@gmail.com to get important updates and emails about your requests and new releases!
When you join the server, you will get an email from Plex to set up an account. Here are some helpful pictures to get you started.
After your account is created and you join the Banksflix server, shortly thereafter you’ll be able to request any shows or movies you want from Overseerr, which is linked on the Request Content page of this website. Just sign in with your Plex credentials and request away!
Some important details about this service:
Viewing media on smart TV’s, gaming consoles, web browsers, and desktop apps is completely free.
Viewing media on a smartphone or tablet is not free. You must either become a Plex pass subscriber for $5 a month OR make a one time purchase in the app.
This server is running on a dedicated server at my home. Therefore, Plex may be inaccessible from time to time due to maintenance, power outages, internet outages, etc. If something is wrong, you can email me and let me know.

Quick Tips about Plex:
Direct play, direct play, direct play! If you're experiencing issues, make sure direct play is enabled! Check out the photos in the link above to see how.
If your internet is slow or you are still having display issues even with direct play enabled, change the resolution settings of the media you're attempting to watch. This will make the server transcode the media into something easier for your device to play back. The slower your internet, the lower you need to set the resolution or set it to "automatically convert."
Please try not to convert 4k media! There is always an HD equivalent in the respective Movies or TV shows libraries. Converting 4k media uses lots of my server's horsepower. If you want to watch 4k, please please make sure you direct play it at its original resolution.

Some tips and tricks:
Your files are in the "Files" page, which you access by clicking the square of smaller squares at the top left of the web interface.
All other Nextcloud apps are located here as well.
When editing a document or creating one, if it has a .docx extension, it will use OnlyOffice to edit it, which is a much better experience than the native word processor built in to Nextcloud.
OnlyOffice is not available to use on mobile device apps.
Even if your status is set to "Online," no Cloud users can see each other's status or contact one another with the Talk app unless they know the entirety of the other party's email address.
Videos do not generate thumbnails in the Memories or Photos application. This is an unfortunate but expected behavior.
Nextcloud may be slow or sluggish when you first start using it. This is because it is not cached on your device our browser yet. Once you take some time to look around and browse, performance will improve.
